  Company History 

We were established in January 1990

The Proprietor and founder of the business  was looking to purchase a garden shed for himself. 

Knowing exactly the quality of building he was looking for , he searched through the adverts in the local papers and the Yellow Pages to source a supplier for his pending purchase. 

Unfortunately after visiting over 20 manufacturers and driving many wasted miles, he could not find the quality that he insisted on having.

The decision was made , he would build one for himself. ( Which he did. )

A few friends commented on the completed building about how well is was made and the unusually high quality of the material that he had used.

The word began to spread and his phone began to ring.   Friends, friends of friends and  people who had heard from goodness knows where were asking , could he make a shed for them. 

Orders began to flow to the point that he couldn't cope any longer working from his garage. 

January 1991 he leased a small 600 sq ft workshop which he thought would be more than large enough to work from.     He was wrong .     By the start of April 1990 he had to lease the workshop next door and knock down the dividing wall  to keep up with his ever increasing work load. 

Slowly but surly he had to start employing staff and the business continued to go from strength to strength.

In 1993 due to" satisfied customers " recommendations , B. S. Joinery Services were proposed then accepted as full members of the "Guild of Master Craftsmen."  

In 1994 the entire business was relocated  to it's current location , a modern 6000 sq ft factory in one of Inverurie's most prestigious Industrial Centres.  

In 1995 to show their commitment to customer care satisfaction and product quality , B. S Joinery Services became members of the "Federation of Small Businesses"

With their policy of continued improvement , B.S. Joinery Services have gained an excellent reputation in the North of Scotland for their innovative building design , product quality , customer care and after sales service.
